My name is Shadreck and I am born and bred Zambian married and blessed with two children. I was born in a touristic area of Luangwa Valley found in Eastern Part of Zambia, where tourism is the main source of employment to the local people. Having brought up in an area so rich with natural resources and knowing its value, I grew up with the mindset of conserving these natural resources even during my school days. When I completed my secondary education in 2002, year later I started working in one of the safari lodges as a Kitchen assistant. After working for a year in the kitchen I was trained as a waiter a position I served for three years. In 2006 I was then trained as a barman the position I served for eight years. Whilst working as a barman I could always find time during off days to accompany some guides taking tourists on wildlife game viewing, Safari walks and night game drives etc. It was from this experience that I got inspired that I decided of pursuing Wildlife Safari and tour guiding course which is done for a period of two years. After two years of studying I sat for some exams and successfully passed. I worked as a level two (driving guide) for four years working for two different companies offering city tours, sight visits and wildlife game viewing around the country. In 2018 I thought of upgrading my guiding career to a Level one (Walking Guide) which is a two years course and 2020 I sat for National Guiding Exams and I successfully passed. With nine years experience of offering guided safari tours, City insight tours and walking safaris assures my esteemed guests a memorable authentic experience in Zambia and some of the neighbouring countries. I am a knowledgeable tour professional whose passionate about educating guests on history of Zambia's pristine sites. I am always focused on continuously improving tours that are sustainable and better group management of all ages. 1) I am a certified tour professional in wildlife level one (walking guide) as well as a level two (driving guide) with a certificate no# 07775761742020TT10171322. 2) I am a licensed Public Service Vehicle driver (PSV) for Southern African region. 3) I am a certified Zambian Sustainability Tour Operator sponsored by the centre for the promotions of imports (CBI) of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. 4) I am certified in Information Communication Technology (ICT) 5) I am a certified First Aider trained by St John Ambulance of Zambia.
