Hello there! I'm Mariella. While I was born in Uruguay, my grandparents arrived in Latin America from Europe in the early 1900s. I see myself as a perpetual learner, hungry for knowledge, always curious and restless. I've studied Social Psychology, International Relations, Coaching, French, and English. I've specialized in stress management techniques and meditation. By profession, I'm a Life Coach. Personal development, well-being, and the social impact that each experience has on individuals and their surroundings make travel and tourism incredibly intriguing to me. I thoroughly enjoy exploring the world around me, whether it's through traveling and discovering different places or immersing myself in cultural and social experiences. Meeting people and hearing life stories, engaging in both light-hearted and profound conversations, delving into a variety of topics that flow in each encounter, and approaching sites with a fresh and curious perspective—all of these aspects contribute to making tours enjoyable and enriching experiences for me. My travels have taken me through Asia, the Americas, Europe, and Oceania, with Africa still on my list! I'm thrilled to welcome foreigners to my homeland and explore the wonderful offerings of my small country together. Wine has been a constant presence in my family. My grandfather, carrying traditions from his homeland, made his own wine upon arriving in America, even with just a few meters to plant and harvest. He offered our family the opportunity to toast with homemade wine, not always the finest in taste, but marked by the joy of having sown, harvested, and crafted it with the warmth of home. It's the fusion of this family tradition of shared homemade wine and my love for being a host that has led me to shape these experiences. Guiding, showcasing, and meeting interesting people with an appetite for the richness that the world of wine has to offer. Wineries established here in the eastern region of the country over the past few years have flourished and become a major draw for connoisseurs of top-quality enotourism. This place has evolved into one of the premier providers of wine-related tourism experiences. I've lived in Montevideo, Ciudad de la Costa, Colonia Suiza Nueva Helvecia, and for the last 3 years, I've been residing in the marvelous city of Punta del Este—where I've found the perfect balance between nature and urban living. I invite you to come and visit us, and let yourself be captivated by Uruguay. I have completed and passed the third year (out of four) of Social Psychology at Pichon Riviere School. I have completed and passed 50% of the Bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of the Uruguayan Republic. I have obtained my Brevet Supérieur de Français, having acquired French as a second language. I have completed intermediate-level studies in the English language. I have received my Professional High-Performance Coach diploma. I studied Business Coaching. Guided tours within the wineries are conducted by specialized guides at each respective location, not by me. My role primarily involves being an experiential companion. It s not allowed to smoke in the car.
