When I first visited Santa Fe on a long weekend getaway, 25 years ago, I instantly fell in love. Annual vacations here became essential, and my husband and I knew Santa Fe would become our home one day. That dream came true for us in 2013, when we found our perfect spot in the wide-open spaces around Santa Fe. Santa Fe's captivating story came alive for me during studies with the New Mexico History Museum and the Santa Fe College. Ahead of that, I held leadership positions in the corporate world and with Napa Valley wineries, where I had amazing days leading vineyard tours.
