Aloha! My name is Scott and I live in the most spectacular place on earth - The Big Island of Hawaii.

Experience the 2018 Kilauea eruption in Leilani Estates thru my eyes and experiences. I am one of the residents that did not evacuate the neighborhood, allowing me to experience the raw power of the volcano just feet away.

If you are a group of 1 to 4, this is the best way to see the very best on Hawaii Island.

The majority of my tours are between 2 - 5 hours. This is your tour and my goal is to send you home with a sense of awe and wonder after visiting this gorgeous island.

Most of my tours are great shore excursions for cruise ship passengers, making sure to get you to the sights you want to see and back to the pier with plenty of time to spare.

Please note: if flying to the Big Island for a day trip, please fly into and out of the Hilo airport. Most of the popular sights are closer to Hilo vs. Kona (Volcanoes National Park, waterfalls, Waipio Valley, black sand beaches, etc). The airport code for Hilo is ITO.

Starting from the Hilo side of the island, this private tour of Volcanoes National Park offers you the ability to see and do the things you want to do.

We will see the billowing Kilauea Volcano, steam vents and drive down Chain of Craters Road with beautiful sights.

When finished at the volcano we can visit an orchid garden, Rainbow Falls, and any other sights we can fit in.

Volcanoes National Park and Hilo Private Tour in a F150 Tremor

Starting at the Port of Hilo we will make our way up to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where we will see the Kilauea Caldera, steam vents and explore past lava flows. Depending on your interests and desires, we will spend a few hours exploring the park.

When finished at the park we'll make our way back to Hilo. If you desire, we can stop at an orchid garden (if they are open) before we visit Rainbow Falls.

In 2018 part of my neighborhood (Leilani Estates) was covered in lava during an eruption from the volcano of Kilauea. I actually own an acre of this new lava that allows us to explore up close and personal.
