While living in San Francisco during the '80s and '90s, I got my start as a tour guide giving walking tours of wonderful Russian Hill overlooking the bay. I have been a legacy media-published film critic since 1997, the same year that I moved to Manhattan's historic Carnegie Hill neighborhood. As a film critic who has made the transition from print to online media, I've had the pleasure of covering ten Cannes Film Festivals, and interviewed dozens and dozens of filmmakers and actors. I've interviewed everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, and Angelina Jolie to Pierce Brosnan, Ken Loach, and Keira Knightly. I keep a busy schedule watching and reviewing films and movies from all genres and eras. I really love connecting with fellow film lovers on my tours. I consider myself very lucky to live in a historic neighborhood that attracts filmmakers from across the globe to film scenes here. Central Park is a constant source of inspiration, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to my favorite spot in the park. I find walking to be my favorite form of exercise, and giving walking tours allows me to share this very satisfying activity with people from around the world.
