Aloha!! E komo mai, welcome!! Daniel is my name and I was born and raised on the island of O’ahu, but have family that stretches all across the island chain. I now reside on the Big Island (Hawaii), but having family ties that date back countless years, I have spent a lot of time on all of the major Hawaiian islands and truly love the fact that Hawaii is my home. From connecting to the ‘aina (land), to exploring the many different volcanic eruptions, Hawaii is a place like no other and I enjoy sharing all about this island, which some seem to take for granted. I am a passionate local and I enjoy all that the island has to offer. From Mauka (the hillside) to Makai (the ocean), there is much to explore. From the popular black sand beaches and unpredictable volcanic activities to simply meeting new friends for a relaxing day in Hilo on the east side of Hawai’i Island, I have been sharing all of these special places for just over five years and absolutely love doing so.
