I am a full-time resident of Cody and a hiking guide expert with 20+ years' experience of group guided tours under my belt (my guide resume is extensive). I've had a passion for hiking since my 20's. It all started on my 3-month-long honeymoon, hiking in 9 different National Parks across the West. During my 15 years in Colorado, I led group hikes on 34 of The 14ers (14, 000'+ mountains). After falling in love with Cody, I moved here in 2020. Here, I took all my hiking experience, mapping skills, gear and safety knowledge to form a hiking tour guide business. To date, I have taken 100+ guests on scenic and historical hiking tours in the Cody / Wapiti / Northfork areas. I offer tours ranging from, short/easy walks and strolls, to moderate/active hikes and heart-pumping all day adventures. . . all with the opportunity to observe and discuss the local flora, fauna and geology. I am a hiking addict! I hike weekly, year-round, in any weather, and believe it is the best form of physical and mental exercise. Known by the locals as the "Hiking Buddy", I regularly take friends and new residents on hiking tours around the many wonderful trails in the Cody area. While hiking is my #1 hobby, I am also an accomplished musician who has played drums casually and semi-professionally since college. I'm kind of a foodie, call myself a "beer enthusiast" and can show you the best restaurants and breweries in town. Karaoke, billiards, darts, corn hole, board games, movies and college football are also on my hobbies list.
