I began offering private tours after settling in Charleston following a career trading financial derivatives with banks in LA, NYC, and London. I offer tours so others can also connect with my longtime favorite city. The tours I offer would not be described simply as "sightseeing tours". Rather, I offer a more sophisticated look into this highly cultural and unique city. I also make sure my tour guests gain a perspective of Charleston so they too can begin to enjoy this city not merely as a tourist, but also as a local. I approach my tours this way because I have had the good fortune to have a global network of friends from my bank trading days and from the Thunderbird Graduate School Of Global Management and Templeton College, Oxford whom I can call on when I arrive in a new destination.
