London Taxi Drivers are almost as famous as the Black Cabs that they drive, due to their having gone through stringent training, 'The Knowledge' is a test, which is among the hardest to pass in the world, and has often been described as 'having an atlas of London imprinted in your brain' - it is the equivalent of a university degree. London Black Cabs traverse the narrow medieval streets where tour buses cannot pass and can also use the bus lanes for extra efficiency. I'm one of a very small groups of cabbies to become a London Taxi Tour Guide (accredited by the City University) and am also a qualified 'City of London Guide', and 'City of Westminster Guide'. In 2017 I was proud to be shortlisted for 'Luxury Travel Guide of the Year' award and in recent years have featured on the Travel Channel. I make sightseeing informative, interesting, fun and entertaining for the first time visitors or regular tourists - not just because of London's history and culture, but also specifically for fans of the British Royal Family, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, James Bond and the Beatles for example. We can also venture a little further afield because it would be fun to show you around some treasures just outside of London such as Hampton Court Palace, Runnymede Magna Carta and we can even take scenic River Thames cruise to Windsor Castle.
