I am fascinated with the city's history and the story behind The Beatles, leading me to design some unique tours, especially for the clients of ToursByLocals. As well as all the hot spots, I can reveal the hidden gems and stories. I have a previous professional career, having held roles with significant responsibility in the corporate world. But I always return to the city I love - Liverpool.

As a local tour guide, I can share my personal anecdotes and have been known to make my guests laugh and sometimes even cry with joy and amazement!

I get a real buzz from treating every guest as VIP, from solo travellers to groups of dozens. I also know the best spot in town for a martini, afternoon tea, dinner or the latest trending vegan eaterie.

As an enthusiastic sailor myself, I can relate to you the stories of how The River Mersey helped to found the fortunes of Liverpool. Aspiring to be a real culture vulture means I keep up to date with the programme of events across the many museums and galleries we have here in Liverpool.

There are so many fun activities in the city to keep me busy, alongside my interests in wine, dining and current affairs. I also hold a wine tasting qualification, am a certified chef, scuba diver, cyclist and possess a Class I BA (hons) degree in business.

A 90 minute introduction to the amazing city of Liverpool, with insight into the Beatles and orientating you from your hotel/accommodation/other arrival point if required. Liverpool is compact any many areas are only accessible on foot.

Let's take a walk around the majestic city of Liverpool. We'll see the Liverpool Waterfront, with plenty of Beatles highlights, and once in a lifetime photo opportunities. Let me show you why Liverpool really is one of the greatest cities in the world!

Amazing buildings, an extraordinary history, links to The Titanic, rich music associations including The Beatles and exciting bars and restaurants. I'll show you the highlights and chat about how the city has changed over the decades.

A tour typically includes approximately 8-12 stops depending on start/finish points to suit you, the guest.
