I live on the beautiful Kent coast in the south east of England. I would be delighted to welcome you to my corner of the country and show you just how stunning the South East of England is with its gorgeous countryside, magnificent gardens, medieval towns and picturesque villages.

I have always felt privileged to live in such a wonderful area that is so rich in places to visit. Since I qualified as a professional tour guide and was awarded the highly respected Blue Badge, it has given me the possibility to share my enthusiasm for the region with guests who come from all over the world.

There are so many amazing sites in the counties of Kent and East Sussex that you could spend your whole vacation here. On our tour, we may find ourselves strolling along the narrow streets of a medieval town such as Rye, driving along idyllic country lanes or perhaps stopping off in a picture-postcard village such as Biddenden for a traditional cream tea or pub lunch.
You will feel very safe and comfortable riding along in my very own 7-seater VW Sharan. This car with its excellent all-round visibility, panoramic glass roof and easy-access electric rear doors is considered to be one of the best in its class for touring. It also allows us the possibility to visit places that are inaccessible to tour buses and large groups.

If you have any historical interests such as the Tudors, Charles Dickens, Winston Churchill or World War 2 history, I can also create a customised tour especially for you. If you are a keen gardener, perhaps you would like to visit one of our world-famous gardens such as Great Dixter or Sissinghurst.

Wherever we go, my aim is for you to have the most enjoyable day possible while discovering something new about the history, the people and the daily life over here in England. This tour gives a great idea of the history and beauty of coastal Kent and East Sussex.
Dover Castle is one of the major sites on the English Channel coast, which played a crucial role in the country's defence throughout the past 900 years. Dover Castle's unique feature is its underground tunnels dug into the chalk cliffs in the 18th century.
The Cinque Port of Rye with its quaint cobbled lanes has seen many events throughout its long, turbulent history. On our walking tour, I will bring the ancient town alive by telling you stories about invasions and smuggling, flooding and shipwrecks, murders, and royal visits.
After travelling through the East Sussex countryside, we will find ourselves at Battle which is small quaint town formed around Battle Abbey. The Abbey was founded by William the Conqueror after the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
Before reaching our destination, we will follow the scenic coastal road on the Seven Sisters clifftop, another well known range of white cliffs on the Southern coast.

Private Full Day Tour from Canterbury to East Dean

On this tour we will visit Chartwell, home of Sir Winston Churchill, and Leeds Castle, coined "the loveliest castle in the world".

In Chartwell, we will explore the gardens, where Sir Winston often found inspiration for his paintings, the studio and, most importantly, the house itself.

In Leeds Castle we will enjoy its beautiful grounds, views of the moated Castle and a visit to the Castle itself, the history of which starts in 1119. We will visit the medieval Gloriette and the "New Castle" dating back to the 1820s.

Tour to Chartwell and Leeds Castle

On this tour, I will tell you how British people lived and fought defending their country on this most dangerous stretch of coast between 1940 and 1945 and how Dover Castle played a crucial role in WW2.
We will visit a unique Battle of Britain Museum, located on the former RAF airfield in Hawkinge. The museum has the world's largest private collection of Battle of Britain memorabilia.
We will also see Folkestone, a very popular Victorian seaside resort, which played a very important role in both world wars. The Battle of Britain Memorial is a very poignant place which also offers beautiful views of the Cliffs and across the Channel.
We will also drive to see the White Cliffs from above as well as to picturesque St Margaret's Bay, another site of wartime action.
