Since passing the Knowledge of London to become a licensed London Taxi driver, I have also qualified as City of London guide and a London cab Guide. I am also a member of the City of London Guide Lecturers Association. I am an active member of the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers and was proud to be the 'Master of the Company' in 2017/18 - a very prestigious position to hold in the City of London. I also participate in the drive to Disney Land Paris along with around 100 taxi drivers, the police, ambulance, and paramedics along with support staff. For a once in a lifetime trip for children with severe medical conditions and life-threatening conditions. One of my roles within the Company is to be part of the education committee and this includes instructing fellow Taxi Drivers to become guides. I am also a keen supporter of 'Help for Heroes' and 'English Heritage'. My tours in London start with the Highlights or Classic Tour, showing the main tourist sites and places of interest for our many visitors to London. I can also offer tours including Harry Potter, Jack the Ripper including the old East end, Greenwich, The London Docks, Movie Locations and then there's Roman, Medieval and London as the financial district. As a Black Cab Heritage Guide, I also take tours to Canterbury, Rochester and the Medway Towns (Charles Dickens), Dover and the Cinque ports of Kent. I can also include tours of Windsor, Stonehenge, Oxford and Bath. I can also now take up to 6 passengers on tour! The London Black Cab is a global icon and my new Electric vehicle is the most customer-friendly taxi ever built - with a range of features to improve your touring experience including the see-through panoramic roof which is perfect for sightseeing! (Please note that for the longer journeys to Stonehenge and Bath I will be using the larger Mercedes London Black Cab and we have a driver as well as the myself the Guide). Completed the 'Knowledge of London' in 2004 to become a Licensed London Taxi Driver. Became a Taxi Driver Guide (accredited by the City University) in 2007. Passed the 'City of London Guide' course in 2011. Passed the Lambeth Tour Guides course in 2022 Member of the 'Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers'. Freeman of the City of London. Member of the City of London Guide and Lecturers Association. Member of the Lambeth Guide and Lectures Association. Member of 'London Historians'. Associate member of 'Black Cab Heritage Tours'. Passed PTILS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) level 4 in 2011. Senior Educator on the Taxi Guide Training Course. I am not a Blue Badge Guide which means that although I can accompany you inside the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey I cannot guide inside these historical monuments.
