Hello from Belfast, I'm Judith and I use my spare time to show travellers around my home town. I grew up in Northern Ireland during the 70s and 80s and I now have three grown up children of my own. I studied history and politics at Queen's University in Belfast, and although I followed that with a career in banking and finance, I have always been interested in history, politics and current affairs. Many years ago, I had a Summer job as a tour guide in London and during the Covid lockdown, I made the decision to study and qualify as a Tour Guide in my home town. Since then I've been having loads of fun showing people of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds around Belfast and sometimes further afield. By finding out the best things to do and places to go I'm enjoying my home town more and more, seeing it with fresh eyes. My tours give a comprehensive introduction to Belfast and cover architecture, history, and politics. I can however talk about most things and also include stories about the people who have lived here in the past and present, good and bad, warts and all. If you book a walking tour with me, I could adapt it depending on your interests and make sure you see and hear the real Belfast.  If you let me know a little about yourself, what you would like to see and the time you have available, I could come up with a plan and also help you with recommendations for the rest of your stay. I really enjoy walking with travellers but can also hire transport if you wish to go further afield. If you do want to get out of the city I have lots of ideas of trips I can discuss with you!
