Hi I'm John Halliday a local tour guide based in Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park here in the Scottish Highlands. My family have lived here for generations and I grew up ape my school holidays here before eventually returning to live here on the former family farm. I know the area really well and wish to share my passion for the Cairngorms, Strathspey and the Aviemore area on my local tours Though I'm a qualified guide for the whole of the Northern Highlands of Scotland, I limit my driver/guide tours to a 50 mile radius of Aviemore. This means you are not sitting in my eight seater vehicle for long and there are frequent stops. I offer bespoke tours from Aviemore to scenic locations in the Cairngorms National Park, whisky distillery tours in Speyside and tours to Inverness, Culloden Battlefield and Loch Ness. .
