I believe that locals are the best to show Abudhabi and I am proud that I am one of few local female guides in UAE. I was born and raised in in Abu Dhabi and I've lived all my life here. Being an Emirati, I have the advantage to understand the local culture from the perspective of a native. Local guides are hard to find here, that makes my tours so special. During my tours, I like to introduce and explain our heritage, culture, and lifestyle. I tend to focus on the experience, and that's what adds a special value and makes the visit unforgettable. With me, you will explore Abu Dhabi through the eyes of a local while I explain about our culture, behavior, and traditions. My guests are always encouraged to ask questions about those parts of our culture that are considered private, offensive or "taboo": I believe this helps to eliminate prejudices about a different culture. I have worked as a site guide in some of the traditional festival held in Abu Dhabi like Liwa Dates Festival, Al dhafra Camels Festival, Mirfa Water Sports Festival and more, because I believe that these events are designed and developed for locals and it's a perfect opportunity to get to mingle with locals and experience the true Emirati lifestyle. Since I have been handling VIP and high delegation, including Sheikhs and governmental officials from overseas, I ensure that the tours I deliver are personalized and customized to the guest needs. Houda is truly an exceptional tour guide, deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of U.A.E. and an absolute pleasure to talk with. We spent eight hours with her that flew by, engaged in conversation with her and her brother, who drove the vehicle, the entire time.
