My hometown of Lviv over the course of its more than 700-year-old history has lived through ups and downs, rises and falls of empires, personal triumphs of artists and inventors, peaks and valleys of noble families and common folk. Lviv bears both opulence of good fortune and scars of ill fate and wars.

Many people, including myself, know that history if presented badly, can be boring and dull. I firmly believe in one simple truth: you don't know a subject well enough if you are not able to present it in a simple, understandable and interesting manner. History can be seen through the lenses of drama and comedy, tragedy and good fortune, vice and virtue, courage and cowardice. History can be a serious novel and a tongue-in-cheek comic book. How can all of this be tedious?

I decided that one needs to constantly improve their skills in order to stay on top. Because naturally if you are not staying on top - you are sliding down. That's why I'm always trying to research some new information about my city and choose the most interesting facts. Moreover, I have to constantly challenge myself by redefining known concepts, keeping in touch with the latest discoveries.

My main goal as a tour guide is to turn every tour into a vivid experience, using two extremely powerful tools: compelling storytelling and your imagination. As we walk the streets, I'll recount the stories of my city, bring to life merciful kings and courageous heroes, horrible tyrants, and treacherous villains.

We will start the trip early in the morning. During the trip, we will see nice landscapes, forests, hills, and mountains.

Our first stop is the village of Urych and mountain fortress of Tustan. It is possible to see the ancient medieval fortification using Tustan AR app on your smartphone.

Then, will arrive at Volosianka village where Zakhar Berkut ski resort has the longest ropeway in Ukraine! The scenic chairlift is a leisurely ride that brings you to the summit of Vysokyi Verkh mountain at 4074 feet (1242 m). There is a restaurant at the mountain top where you have a wonderful view of the mountains while enjoying a nice meal. When you are ready to head back, you have the option of either hiking down or riding the chairlift back to the base area.

Finally, we will arrive at Kamianka waterfall which is located on the Kamianka river in the Dubyna National Park.
