Having been born and raised right here in Barcelona, I've got a deep connection with this city. I'm a true "Barcelonian". I've spent the last two decades immersed in the tourism sector, guiding in iconic spots like Park Güell and working in the Hop on Hop off Tourist Bus. I've worked in the travel agency and hotel industry.

I've also lived in Rome, experienced Paris during my Erasmus Program, and spent time in Aalborg, Denmark. I'm currently residing with my wife and daughter in Barcelona's Horta neighborhood, an old village within the city.

I like starting this tour from the gardens in front of the Nativity Façade where you can take wonderful pictures of that side Gaudi had time to (almost) finish. The farther we are, the better perspective we have! and then we will DIVE IN!

When Gaudí accepted this project it turned into a much more ambitious one. He wanted to build the Church of God! A great book of Nature, a work in progress. . . Forever? Let's discover it together!

- Passeig the Gràcia became the avenue where the wealthy Catalan families settled in the late nineteenth century. An emerged social class, that promoted the beginning of the economic development of Catalonia (now, the richest area of Spain). Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are some of its buildings.

- The Park Güell, a luxury residential site, was the reality of a utopia for his friend and patron, Eusebi Güell.

- The church of La Sagrada Família is the masterpiece of Gaudí, still unfinished and landmark of Barcelona.

* Extend the tour one hour to visit the inside of one of the houses of Gaudí and to see how the bourgeoisie used to live - I recommend visiting La Pedrera
