Hola! My name is Rosalía. I was born and raised in Madrid where I work now as an official licensed guide. After finishing my studies both in Tourism and Oriental Studies at Madrid UAM University, I moved to Taiwan to improve my Chinese language. I lived in Taipei for a few years and there I re-discovered my three passions: History, guiding and eating! So yes, I’m a foodie traveler. I worked in the tourism industry since I was 18 but it was in Taipei where I started working as a volunteer guide and where I knew I was meant to be a guide. Upon returning to Spain in 2014, I worked in a travel agency organizing itineraries and guiding the groups around. While guiding the groups I knew I needed to feel the cities in person, not through a computer so I became a full-time local guide in Madrid in 2015. I consider myself a very active, entrepreneur, responsible and hard-working person. I love my job and I enjoy every single tour that I make. I’m very passionate about History and Arts, but so am I about anecdotes, music, folkloric traditions, and, of course, food! I was raised in the North mountains of Madrid and I practice lots of sports like hiking, climbing, skiing, or mountain bike. I also love showing my city to all our visitors. Just as each person is unique, so is each tour. Therefore, all my tours are adapted to your needs and flexibility is the word to define my tours. You’ll find a few designed tours but I’m always open to customize any of them for you. When working I like to treat travelers as friends coming to visit, so I’ll take you to the local places I like to go on my own.
