Hello, I'm Jun. I have been working as an English tour guide since 2013.

Before I became a tour guide, I was a reporter of a magazine. Working as a reporter, I had the chance to travel abroad and to communicate with people from different countries, and this helped me to become a tour guide.

I was born and raised in Seoul. I have lived in Seoul for more than 40 years, But now I stay in the city named Goyang.
I have experienced all different kinds of tours during my career. My specialty is to understand people' needs and customize my excursions in the best possible way.

I like to focus on Seoul city and DMZ (Korean Demilitarized Zone) tour, which are by far be the most popular tourist attraction in Korea.

DMZ is the result of our painful history like cold war and Korean war. But ironically it has become one of the most visited tourist attraction. Because of the over 70 years of separation DMZ has become an ecological paradise.

DMZ is a 2km zone to each side from the demarcation line. When we say DMZ tour, normally it means 3rd tunnel tour including Dora observatory. If you go to eastern DMZ area, there's not much thing to see.

There are also other attractions to visit like DMZ Gondola, suspension bridge, Odusan observatory. I can customize this tour according to your requests.

Private Tour of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

Seoul has been the capital city of Korea over 600years. The history goes back to 1392, when new dynasty named Chosun was established. When they designed the new city, they considered the location of the mountains as an important factor. So when you see the Gyeongbokgung palace, you must see surrounding mountains as a whole picture.

Behind Gyeonbokgung palace, you will see the Blue House, which used to be the presidential residence. After we covered two places, we can understand overall history of Korea. There are also lots of attractions nearby including very authentic Korean Barbeque restaurant.

Tour will end at the street called Insadong or Ikseondong. The itinerary is customizable, your suggestions are always welcome.

The Essence of Seoul - Full Day Private Tour

This is 3-hours walking tour. Without worrying about the traffic jam, you can stroll around the heart of Seoul like Gyeongbok, Blue House, Insadong. You can learn the history and culture of Korea intensively enjoying the scenic view of the places.

You can easily find the meeting point next to National Palace Museum, then tour starts there from watching guard changing ceremony.

There is also a chance to try authentic Korean food and drink in Insadong or Ikseondong. which is also ending point of the tour.
