Bem-vindos ao Porto! Welcome to Porto! My name is Joana and Porto is my hometown. I was born and raised in this beautiful city. Lived some years abroad but came back to where my heart belongs. I have been working in tourism since 2005 and what started as new work experience ended up becoming my passion. I have 15+ years of experience in the cruise industry and since 2020 I have returned to guiding full time. When I am not guiding, I am enjoying some quality time with my 5-year-old daughter or reading a good book, watching a nice series on TV. I love to show my country to those who choose to visit us. I am passionate about history, wine and food. But I also love to share those funny stories about the sites we visit. Cities are living monuments that are in constant movement, and that is what makes us so special. I will tell you about the past, but also about the present so that you can feel like a local.
