Olá! / Hello! / Hola! My name is Sara, born and raised in Coimbra, a city in the Center Region of Portugal I always loved my country and love to share my knowledge about it with people from all around the world. I am graduated in Tourism, Leisure and Heritage by the famous University of Coimbra, one of the oldest Universities in the World, and the oldest of Portugal. After graduation I worked in a Travel Agency, a Local Museum (Museu da Pedra in Cantanhede), as an Events Manager for a 4* Hotel in Curia. . . and completed an internship with success in a Cultural Association promoting Fado of Coimbra (classified as Intangible Heritage within the UNESCO classification of Coimbra, in 2013). After these experiences I have decided to start my own Tour Company and worked in it as Manager and Tour Guide from May 2012 to November 2020, when - because of COVID19 - I was forced to shut it down. I still have all the knowledge and tools to do the job though, and I have never given up on working with travelers. . . so I am still available for hire as a Tour Guide! I have a comfortable car that I can use for services throughout Portugal: half-day, full-day tours or multi-day routes, you name it! Within cities I love doing mostly walking routes and combine it with public transportation whenever needed. I am currently managing my website and my social media (Facebook and Instagram). More recently I have created a YouTube Channel about traveling and living in Portugal, and this is something that occupy my days while I can't work again as a full time Tour Guide! There you can find series of videos dedicated to "tips & tricks about Portugal", travel vlogs, virtual tours. . . and much more. I also do travel and living consultancy for Expats in Portugal, helping people to settle here.
