My name is Scott. I am a lifelong resident of Portland and an avid world traveler. Discover My Portland combines my passions for travel, history, and my hometown by sharing with you on your own travels to my part of the world a unique tour I call The Rest of the Story. This tour won't try to sell you on Portland (I think it sells itself), rather I will tell you stories of interesting, colorful, and sometimes tragic figures that help to make Portland into the place it is today. Discover My Portland is a one-man show. I am the owner and the only tour guide so when you come to Portland, you get me. My wife and I recently took a year off to travel the world but we are now back and I can't wait to show you my Portland. Life long resident of Portland, history fanatic, member of Travel Porland and generally a good guy.
