Tour guide in Paracas Eduardo L.

Hello everyone! I am Eduardo and I live in Paracas. Since I was very little, I have had a close bond with the sea and nature. Little by little, I have been acquiring experience thanks to surfing and windsurfing. Windsurfing is the sport that allowed me to discover unique places on the Peruvian coast and the world. In addition to having been a source of work, I dedicated myself to the instruction of this sport for many years. At 19 years old, I fulfilled a great dream. I sailed from the beautiful bay of Paracas to Easter Island. Years later, I made a second sailing crossing from Brazil to South Africa, passing through places full of wildlife like Tristan da Cunha. Surely, that contact with the sea and nature also led me to study biology. That allowed me to research humpback whales in northern Perú, and to work for the Galapagos National Park and in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. 14 years ago, I started kayaking and, for 8 years, I have been working as a sea kayak guide in the Arctic and Antarctica. Work that I enjoyed since it combines my passion for nature and sports. For this reason, 3 years ago, I also decided to create my own sea kayak business in Paracas - my home and the place I love. My mission is that more people have the opportunity to respectfully enjoy nature and, consequently, to try to generate more awareness to continue protecting it, since we do not protect what we do not love and know. And believe me, sea kayaking is a great tool for this matter. I also work as an interpreter, naturalist guide, and trekking guide, so I am not limited only to sea kayaking. There are many beautiful places in the Paracas National Reserve that I would love to show you on foot or by car. I am also certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR), as a level 4 sea kayaker and I am an ACA (American Canoe Association) level 3 kayak instructor.
