My name is Fernando and I've been working as a tour guide for more than 10 years now. I am a passionate guide which means I will resonate with what you feel to make your tour comfortable and more than nice. We can work together along to make your tours more than a simple experience.

I love showing my country because that way, I see every single person's smile and how they enjoy their experience. I was born and raised in Panamá but went abroad for some quick courses and training.

I am a former Commercial Airplane Pilot and Marine Engeneer as well. Both things have teached me a lot to understand the different scenarios about how my country works.

I'm also a co-worker in my city, helping with the homeless and people in need. That makes you realize the things we need in order to grow and be better day by day in our tasks.

During this tour I'll gladly intend to make you feel very welcomed to my city!

We'll visit one of the 7 engineering wonders of the modern world, the Panama Canal, where you'll get to sense the experience of a ship going through the locks and how the Canal works itself, plus you could also see a historical 45 minute film in an IMAX theatre that contextualizes how the canal came to be.

In addition to this, we'll go across a route that links 3 islands, which means we'll have a panoramic view from the city & it's high rise. In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful areas here!

Another highlight of the tour is certainly visiting a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011: Panama's Casco Viejo, a place full of history where we'll find Churches from the 1675's, completely restored vintage hotels, lots of handcrafted & traditional tribe masks or paintings, the best coffee & hand craft beers venues, and not less important, our typical gastronomy restaurants.

Panama Highlights - Half Day City Tour

I offer you a different experience for those looking to disconnect with urban noise & reconnect with nature.

Embark into an amazing journey where we'll get on a wooden boat & sail across a waterfall lake in order to reach the Embera tribe, an indigenous community with whom we'll closely engage.

They're a very friendly tribe that often partakes in special celebrations. They will have prepared a traditional lunch for us, with locals fruits such as Banana, Watermelon, Pineapple & Melon as desert.

We'll learn of the Embera's culture & traditions, and if you dare, even join them in their dances!

Also, I suggest you bring your swimsuit! When there are normal water levels, it takes around half an hour to reach the waterfalls on a boat, but when the water is low, we could even go on a 20 min walk to reach them!

And if you don't want to swim, don't worry; you can still enjoy the experience by keeping an eye out for the local fauna such as sloths & monkeys!

Emberá Tribe & Secret Natural Treasures - Panama Full Day Tour

Let's go on an adventure amongst clear waters and across the Colón district, including the Old Fort of Portobelo. Besides seeing this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll be able to jump into the warm, blue waters that surround the islands we'll be visiting, so bring a swimsuit!

You should know that in between the main 2 islands, there's a piece of land inhabited by monkeys. They sometimes are at plain sight, but sometimes they're deeper inland, so although this tour won't guarantee to come across them since we must respect their habitats, there's still a distinct possibility that we'll visualize some!

In the last island we'll visit, we'll go to a restaurant to enjoy genuine local food. Both the venue where we'll eat as well as the boat we'll sail on, are mainly used by the locals, so you'll go back with memories of an experience that besides being lots of fun, is also truly authentic.

Also, for the bolder adventurers, there's also a 20min hike to the top of the island that we could go on, so let me know!
