¡Hola! Thank you for choosing Panama as your upcoming travel destination. My name is Sharon M. , and I will be glad to show you the best of Panama City, Casco Viejo (the old town), Panama Canal and the indigenous villages.

I was born and raised in Panama City, Panama. My experience in Tourism starts in 2003, after I got a Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management. I have worked in different areas of the tourism field: airline reservations, incoming tour operators, hotel management, event planning (local and international conferences), and as a tour guide. I am a Licensed Tour Guide by the Authority of Tourism Panama.

Being a tour guide in Panama gives me the opportunity to show our visitors the best of Panama City and the towns nearby. Of course, any trip to Panama must include a visit to the Panama Canal, but there are other places that are worth a visit, and I am sure you will enjoy. One of my favorite tours is a visit to the Embera Indigenous Village. It combines a cultural experience within a natural environment.

Shopping during a Panama City & Canal Tour

Our first stop is at the Panama Canal Miraflores Locks. At the visitor center, you may see the ships while they pass through the Canal. You will learn about its history, operation and recent expansion. Then, we will go to the Amador Causeway, a road that connects four small islands on the Pacific, and was made with the excavated materials from the Canal.
The Amador Causeway offers stunning views of Panama City skyline and the Pacific entrance of the Canal. Our next stop is for lunch. You may choose to have lunch at the Amador Causeway, Casco Antiguo or Sabores del Chorrillo.
After lunch, we will head up to Casco Antiguo, Panama City's old town founded in 1673, and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. We will walk around the old quarter, and I will show you the most important buildings, squares and churches of the colonial district, while you learn about the Hispanic legacy and admire the European and neoclassical art of its buildings.
The tour will end with a panoramic drive in Panama City.

Full-Day Panama City, Casco Viejo & Panama Canal Private Tour for Kelvin Roth

We will visit the Amador Causeway, a road that connects four small islands on the Pacific, and was made with the excavated materials from the Canal. The Amador Causeway offers stunning views of Panama City skyline and the Pacific entrance of the Canal.

I will drive you through the Bridge of the Americas, one of the bridges over The Panama Canal. After crossing the bridge, we will visit a scenic viewpoint, a special spot to take pictures of the bridge, the Pacific ports, and the ships.

Then, we will stop at the Goethals Monument, a beautiful white Vermont marble structure built to honor George Washington Goethals for his achievements during the Panama Canal construction. Behind the Goethals Monument, you will see the Panama Canal Administration Building, a landmark of the Panamanian history built in 1914.

Our next stop is at the Panama Canal Miraflores Locks Visitor Center, where you may see the ships while they pass through the Canal, while you learn about its history, operation and recent expansion.
