Hi! My name is Janet and I want to make your visit to Amsterdam unforgettable. I am from Chicago, IL, USA, but now I call Amsterdam home and I love this city! Amsterdam has it all: Art, Architecture, Food, and History. I consider giving tours as a chance to make new friends! I can show you the the classic tourist sights or Amsterdam off the beaten path. I feel lucky that I live in this incredible city and get to enjoy its beauty and its quirkiness every day. I love walking my dog in the Vondelpark, boating around the canals and making art in the Amsterdam Zoo. I have an undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a MFA from Temple University. Afterwards, I spent many years working as an art teacher with children and adults. My aim is to entertain while showing you what Amsterdam is all about. In addition to English, I'm fluent in Italian, having lived in Rome while getting my MFA (cleverly combining my love of art with my love of food).
