Fez is a city in northeastern Morocco often considered as the cultural capital of the country. It is mainly known for the fortified medina of Fez El Bali, with medieval Merinide architecture, lively souks and old-fashioned atmosphere. As you make your way through the streets of the Medina, you'll pass historic sites like the Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihria. You'll see the elegant Nejjarine Fountain and the nejjarine fondouk, a museum of arts and culture, with its lovely architecture .
Visit to Chaouwara Tanneries. Continue with a visit to Souk Attarine, where you'll find pyramids of colorful spices, Berber carpets, leather goods, and other treats like homemade orange blossom water.
Then to the copper streets to see copper Smith's and bronze Smith's.
Then Visit Bab Boujloud, a massive triple-arched city gate decorated with geometric motifs in blue tile.

Meknes is a city located in the north of Morocco. It is famous for its imperial past, with remains such as Bab Mansour, a huge door with vaults and mosaic tiles. The door leads to the interior of the ancient imperial city. The mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail, which made the city its capital in the seventeenth century, includes courtyards and fountains. To the south, the vast complex Heri es-Souani once housed stables and food warehouses.
volubilis
The Roman ruins of Volubilis sit in the middle of a fertile plain about 33km north of Meknès, and can easily be combined with nearby Moulay Idriss to make a fantastic day trip from Meknès. The city is the best-preserved archaeological site in Morocco and was declared a Unesco World Heritage site in 1997. Its most amazing features are its many beautiful mosaics preserved in situation.
