Hello! Bonjour! My name is Pedro, I am from Yucatan and I am a descendant of the Mayan culture; I started out in tourism 13 years ago when I began my university studies. I found myself with the opportunity to get a scholarship to study in France for a year, and when I returned I obtained the diploma of Official Guide from the Mexican Government and I have been an official French speaking guide 11 years ago. During my career as a guide, I realized that tourism was certainly developing in Yucatan but I noticed the lacking offer of real experiences to share with the Mayan communities, with respect for nature and good practices in tourism. This made me decide to adopt the philosophy of responsible tourism in the proposal of my visits where I seek that the impact when practising tourism is as positive as possible for everyone. So I offer experiences that go from the archaeological aspect, to authentic cultural immersion (cooking workshops, visiting local producers, visiting cities authentically, etc.). And above all, I also offer visits to classic destinations (Chichén Itzá, Uxmal, Cenotes, Mérida) with experiences that enrich the day.
