Hi! I'm Valeria from Mexico City. I was born and raised here, and I really love this city. I am a multidisciplinary person: I'm an art historian, a translator, a professor, and a photographer. As you can see, I am a little bit restless; I have many passions and I actively pursue all of them. I also love to travel, and I try to do it as frequently as I can, which has brought me to know many interesting corners of the world. Foreign languages also thrill me, so I have devoted a good part of my life to getting to know other cultures through their languages. I currently speak six and hope to continue learning more! I have been a tour guide for 10 years now. I started by chance, someone recommended me to offer a tour downtown on art (muralism, Diego Rivera, and Frida Kahlo) and I said: why not? I loved it and I have been doing it on and off ever since. I am keen on sharing my culture and exchanging different worldviews with people from other places. Mainly, I have given walking tours downtown in Mexico City on topics such as muralism, history, and architecture. However, I have given other kinds of tours, and I always adapt to the interests of tourists, whether it is art, history, food or shopping, or all of them. That way I have tailored tours to get to know several places throughout Mexico City, such as downtown, Coyoacan, San Angel, and Xochimilco. Mexico City is such an amazing place! There are so many things to see and do! That is why I love it here so much. Hopefully, I can transmit that passion to you and help you get submerged in Mexican culture.
