Hola! My name is Cristina but my friends and family call me Kitty. I was born in Merida, Yucatán, I have been a tour guide for about 6 years and it is something I absolutely love and enjoy! 

I got my Guiding license a few years back and in this years of experiencing the Yucatán, I've encountered many ways to share our deep culture, amongst my favorite is Ecotourism and Community tourism. This means direct contact with our native cultures and the people and leaving a positive impact on them and the surroundings. 

Of course we all want to see the best of the Yucatán, so when I curate the tours I offer, I try to integrate the more popular sites with more authentic, off the beaten path and closer to the heart experiences.

I can offer a diversity of touristic services.

We will visit the Mayan ruins of dzilbilchaltun, have a great guided tour there, then we will keep going to Merida downtown, have another private tour here, walking through the most emblematic spots of Merida downtown, and finish with lunch at the gastronomical museum, tasting some of the most traditional foods of Yucatan.

Float and Flee - Shore excursion Private Tour

The tour's starting point is your lodging in Merida, when I pick you up. We will embark into a bit of a drive towards the south of Merida. Arriving to Uxmal, I will guide you into this amazing culture and we will discover the mayan history through every ancient building.

Then you can choose 2 of this activities:

• Yucatecan hacienda, characterized by its architecture and colonial style.
• Visit the workshop of the artisan Patricia Martin Morales, renowned artist and replicator of pre-Hispanic art.
• Museo del Chocolate, an eco-park with culture, vegetation of the region, perfect for understanding the relationship of cocoa with the Mayan culture.
• Ancient Encounter, a group of women will welcome us into their home and invite us seasonal fruits and juice, show us how to prepare typical spices, a pumpkin seed dip and we will take part in the activities so this is your chance to learn to make tortillas! We will have lunch here, "Pollo pibil".
• Cenote
• Kabah or Labna archeological sites.
