Hi there, I am Povan, an IT guy turned Tour Guide. My main passion is travelling and to see others Culture, Tradition and learn their way of life. Based on this Principles, I pursued a Tour Guide course and got a license from the Tourism Ministry of Malaysia. My TG license #11827. Born and brought up in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, I have seen tremendous changes and transformation of the city. I grew up in the Palace surrounding as my father worked as Pantry Steward and later as cook assistant in the National Palace. I saw the ruling of 5 different King that came by and stirred the country to a developed nation after the Independence from the British Colonization. Playing without fear or scare through the palace courtyard and its beautiful garden of roses and hibiscus, made me feel free and adventures all the time and of course getting into little trouble with my dad and the Palace Guards at times. Looking back after 11 years in the Tourism line, I can Proudly say, I have accomplished so much and I have inspired Many to see the world and my country out there. I am Fun, Knowledgeable and ready to share with you many Tales. My Main Focus will be on Gastronomy (Food Tour), Historical (Heritage), Hidden Gems (City), Architecture Tour, Speak Easy(Hidden Bars) And Off Beat Tours. At times I can accommodate special request from the guests too. I also Provide VIP, Fine Dinning and Customized overland Tours and as per request. Most likely you will end up staying more days than planned after the tour with me. I am Licensed Tour Guide by MOTAC, Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia. My TG License #11827. I am also a VTO, Voccsional Training Officer, licensed by Tourism Ministry of Malaysia. I am a Trainer for Tourism Courses. I also hold PP/PPD/PPL. Those are license for invigilator on Tourism related Examinations. A Member of SGTGA, Selangor Tour Guide Association. I Hold a MBA degree in Business Administration. I DO NOT guide in any NATIONAL PARK, nor conduct any trekking tours.
