As a young lad I grew up in South East London, my father ran a market stall in one of southeast London's most famous markets in East Lane, Walworth, so began my long fascination with London and it's rich history. In my first job I would work in the real estate agency market, eventually becoming a manager of my own branch in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, becoming familiar with the fascinating variety of different styles of property ranging from 17th century, all the way up to modern day. Whilst I enjoyed working in Greenwich, 28 years ago a great opportunity presented itself when I was offered the chance to take on, it is said one of the most toughest exams in the world by completing the historic knowledge of london , and try to fulfil a lifelong ambition to become one of "London's finest" as a licensed black cab driver. I was required by the Public Carriage Office (PCO, originally a branch of the Metropolitan Police) to know the area within a 6‑mile radius of Charing Cross (centre of london) which encompasses 113 square miles , in Layman's terms, learn over 25, 000 of London, streets and over 50, 000 places of interest and important landmarks. Since completing the knowledge in the summer of 1999 and becoming a black cab driver, one of my greatest Joys was sharing my knowledge of the history of London, and listening to the fascinating stories, told by my customers in the back of my cab. Eventually I would be drawn into the guiding world, gaining qualifications in not one but two accreditations;  The worship company of Hackney, carriage, drivers, qualified tour guiding course, followed shortly after by becoming a City of Westminster qualified tour guide. Apart from my passion for London, the rest of my spare time is also occupied by the love of photography, using my experience gained as a cab driver to find some hidden spots, showing great panoramas of the city.
