Hello, everybody! I have been a guide for over 20 years and still love to tour the island with our visitors. I am proud of the island where I was born and have been living all my life, except for a few years at the university, one year in Cardiff and a summer in Norway to guide the cruise passengers. There are many beautiful places all over the world and Lanzarote is really a unique landscape. Until the 50's our main concern was to survive, many emigrated to America and did not return. In those days we did not know the potential of Lanzarote as a holiday destination. We learned it later when César Manrique taught us to see the beauty of a volcanic stone, to value our local agriculture and architecture and encouraged us to protect the island's landscape for future generations. After all, Lanzarote is our home. I look forward to showing the beauties and share my love for Lanzarote with you. Angela.
