My former career was in Banking and I have lived in Killarney since 1983. I have developed a close bond and love of the County of Kerry, its fabulous scenery, culture, history and people. Killarney is the premier tourist holiday destination in Ireland. It is located in South West Ireland, is the 'jewel' of the tourism sector in the country and is renowned for it's natural beauty. It has been a favourite tourist destination since the 17th century. As a Tour Guide I want visitors who come to Killarney to leave after their vacation with an appreciation of the true essence of County Kerry and Ireland. There are hidden attractions in this county that people never get to see that are of extraordinary splendour and interest, ranging from the 'Tetrapod' Trackway Fossil Footprints on Valentia Island which date back 385 million years to the the unique Bronze & Iron Age Ring Forts, to name just a few. My personal interests and pastimes include walking, cycling, reading, travel, music, exercise and general outdoor activities.
