I was born in rural Kagoshima Prefecture in the south-western part of Japan and moved to Tokyo to study at Tokyo Metropolitan University when 18 years old. Since then, I have lived around Tokyo for more than 40 years. After graduation, I worked for a TV broadcasting company and studied English in Brighton, England for a year after retirement. I used to be a director and producer for TV shows and had introduced Japanese customers to many interesting sightseeing spots domestic. In turn, I would like to put my experiences into good use to share with guests from abroad as I got a national license for English speaking tour guides in Japan. I am very interested in Japanese history, culture including pop one and art, and always visit domestic sightseeing spots like hot samurai or ninja museums to get some new information for guests.
