Tour guide in Tokyo Halle

Hello, I'm Halle . Born and raised in Uji city, Kyoto. Which is known to be a big producer of quality green tea. I have lived in Tokyo more than 2o years and I have been in love with this vibrant city as much as I love my hometown, Kyoto. I love traveling, listening to music and singing, Karaoke too ♪ Also snorkeling (can't forget the amazingly beautiful coral reefs… I spent amusing myself hours in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. ) As of food, I love Japanese sweets made of azuki red beans (rich in polyphenol . . helps keeping you young ) and sake ! (I got qualified as a certified drinker recently ^^… I mean 'Sommelier of Sake' I don't drink when I'm on duty ! but more than happy to introduce the wonderful beverage to you ! My experience having worked as a teaching Assistant in Australians school with over 50 different nationalities inspired me and got me interested in my own culture…and that triggered me to become an English speaking tour-guide. Although I'm new here at 'ToursByLocals', I have been guiding since 2002 except for my about a year and a half maternity leave (my son is now 15 years old) and as well as the pandemic leave (> <). I have delivered over 900 tours for both groups and independent customers so far. I regard myself to be an accommodating, caring, patient and curious person. I love meeting people from around the world, and I find it truly pleasurable when my guests' faces sparkle with joy in making discoveries during my tour ! Can't wait to meet you and show you around this amazing city with lots of wonder ! Huge and the buzzing Tokyo metropolis holds a tremendous amount of fascination and a reputation of uniqueness. Modern boldness merged with tradition and order. When I first came here, I did not know where to start… still sometimes overwhelmed for its never stopping revitalization !! And yet, now I know where to stand after having lived here for nearly half of my life. There is so much to discover, and I would love to show its diverse charm and depth to you. I will arrange your tours accordingly… for the 1st -time visitors, covering must-see sights with some must eat foods (wish we could cover all… way too many). Or for those who would prefer off the beaten track, or keen to try some fun 'hands-on experience'.
