Hi, my name is Ken. I am a Kyoto native ( born and grown up till 23 years old) with 16 years of business life in the USA. I am a private tour guide, and love this work. Why? Because visitors can ask, talk, and discuss with me on whatever questions they have. As I love talking on history, art, literature, Haiku, business, economy, anime, martial art, sumo, Ninja, and bird watching, you can ask me whatever subject. This is one of the advantages you have only through my tour, not by a stereotyped group tour or a mobilized bus tour. My private tours cover Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, Himeji and Iga, a Ninja hometown, by walking, public transportation, and sometims by a private vehicle. Most of my tours take 6 to 8 hours per trip. The tours listed here are just samples of them. I will customize them according to your interest or itinerary. The ideal group that I recommend for the tour is 2 to 6 people. Kids are absolutely welcomed, as long as they are supervised by their parents. I can accommodate your trip with their interest, i. e. Ninja or Anime. As I have homes both at Nabari ( Ninja town ) in Iga region with my wife, and in Kyoto alone, I can adjust my schedule to the customers' request with flexibility.
