My name is Chiyoko please call me Choco. 

I was born and raised in Kobe. It's my pride to say this is my hometown. Because Kobe is special meaning, the gate of God and Kobe has always been an open port and land to the outside world, and has been tolerant of new cultures since early times. I am grateful to have inherited that spirit. 

I started volunteer guide in Nara, when I was college student. Then I studied and wrote a thesis about Shinbutsu Shugo in Shingon Buddhism in Kyoto. After finish college, I worked for a trading company in Kobe, then spent studying Russian theater in Moscow. After returning to Japan, I worked for various Japanese companies before freelancing as an interpreter and a translator. At the same time, I have also worked as a guide. Apart from English, I speak Russian quite well, and Spanish and Italian for basic level.

I think it would be a waste time to come all the way to Japan and if you go back home after just doing some run-of-the-mill sightseeing with crowded tourists. That's why I try to introduce places that are difficult for overseas visitors to visit alone. I also hope to take you to places that not many other guides have introduced you to, so that you can take home a unforgettable image of Japan. I also love to travel, so I try to be helpful to travelers coming to Japan as much as possible.

I provide private guiding services in Western Japan (KOBE, OSAKA, HIMEJI etc.). I can guarantee you an unique and wonderful, special experience. By the way, I am not a professional driver. Besides I cannot arrange any private taxi booking for my tour.

In my tour, we use public transportation such as trains and buses. It's not including bullet trains. 
If you want to include the transportation fee to your tour, please ask me. I can estimate and let you know.

Sake brewing in Nada began in the 14th century and became a major industry in the 17th century. The area's geography, climate, and access to resources made it ideal for sake production. Nowadays we can also see the memorial museums with the Sake brewing company.

After visiting breweries, we can go to another area of Kobe for sightseeing.

This tour is customized from Kobe port terminal to Osaka castle. From the start point of the port terminal, we'll meet in front of the cruise ship. After we'll take several transportation to Osaka. Then lunch time about 1 hour. And we'll go to Osaka castle by train. From the nearest station it takes 20~30 minutes on foot. Inside castle is modern style, we can go up by elevator on the top. If we have enough time, when coming back to Osaka station, we'll go to another shrine too.
