I can guide tourists mainly in the northern foot of Mt. Fuji where there is rich nature and famous for 5 lakes. I was born and raised in this area which is just 1. 5 hours drive away from Tokyo. Even though it is not very far from such a big city, this area is surrounded by a rich natural environment, and most of the things to create the cities, such as culture, customs, local industry… these are all related to Mt. Fuji history, such as the historical shrines around Mt. Fuji which were founded to pray for volcanic activities to be settled. The cities around here have flourished in textile industries by getting the benefits of the pure spring water from Mt. Fuji. After living in several cities in Japan and overseas, I made my way back to this place and got the license of official tour guide which has been certified by the Prefectural Government since 2016. After getting the license, I worked at Tourist Information Center in Mt. Fuji station for a few years. The number of the tourists in Mt. Fuji area has been getting increased since Mt. Fuji was registered as a cultural world heritage in 2013. Through woking in the Tourist Information Center, I saw the changes of the circumstances of tourists and learnt how I can help the tourists to fill their time with great fun. In 2018, finally I started to work as a tour guide. I have guided lots of guests from all over the world in the private tours customized as they wished. According to my experiences, what the tourists expect the most in Mt. Fuji area is to find its beauty of nature. There are so many great view spots of Mt. Fuji in each season (ex. Mt. Fuji wearing snow with cherry blossoms blooming in spring, Mt. Fuji with autumn leaves, Mt. Fuji reflected on the surface of the lake etc. ) Some places are well-known and always crowded. I can take my guests there as smoothly as possible or pick up quieter area where the only local people know about instead, so that the guests can enjoy their quality time privately. Guests can enjoy not only seeing the beautiful nature but also actually experiencing it by trekking or cycling around. Especially trekking in the forest on lava field is very popular among foreign tourists. You must admire its uniqueness of the forest and nature power. I take a training course from the nature guide every year so that I can catch up with the new information and provide the better explanations and performances. Except for Mt. Fuji view sites, I can offer my guests some plans to experience Japanese culture. Please check out the tours I have proposed. I can make these tours possible as I live in the community of this area. As for my personality, I love to share the history and culture of my country with the visitors, and I have never become tired of it. The more groups I take, the more my knowledge increases as well as my curiosity.
