Hello, my name is Adriano, and I welcome you to Verona! I've been living here for 16 years. I was born in Northern Italy, and moved to Veneto because I met my wife... a real "Veronese". What impressed me the most when I got to Verona, was that in this small city, you can actually "smell" 2000 years of history everywhere you go. Veneto region is ideal for those who like mountain sports (myself being keen on outdoor activities), architecture (especially Romanesque and medieval), and traditional cuisine. I love jazz music, chilling with friends and, of course, traveling with my wife and our two little kids. I started to accompany small groups about 20 years ago, and have been licensed here in Veneto since 2010. Since then, I worked in the surrounding areas like Lake Garda, Soave, Valpolicella, Lessinia, and Monte Baldo. I have a philosophy background but also a year of natural science. As a Nature Guide, I mostly work outside of the old center highlighting the rural, archaeological, and natural facts of our country-based culture. The main goals of my tours are to create a real connection with the places and my guests and to create experiences that will let you discover the true local culture.
