Hi! Welcome to my homepage! My name is Maria Rosaria and I was born in Terracina a charming town in between the Rome of the Popes and the Reign of Naples. I have loved Rome since I was a child and dreamed of moving there one day! To this day, I still remember when my mother and I came to Rome for the Jubilee of 1975. I still recall my excitement to be in front of the basilica of St. Peter for the first time. Any time I take visitors there, I relive it and share those emotions with them! When I was in school I studied Latin, Greek and Art history. My Art history teacher was so passionate that he passed all his love for art along to me and this led me to become a professional tour guide. I will be pleased to be your guide in and out off the beaten track of Rome! I will guide you to discover venues full of history, but also charm and fascination that will lead you to find out how Romans built acqueducts, baths, residential villas, amphitheaters, roads, but also their culture, religion, beliefs and traditions. Following in the footsteps of the great Renaissance and Baroque artists such as Raphael, Michelangelo, Bernini, Caravaggio we will visit more famous and less known places that hold their masterpieces. Rome will become your place of the heart and the bond with it like a seed that grows with time!
