Hi, my name is Gianluca, but my friends call me Luca. I'm a friendly man with over 10 years of experience in touring, coupled with an endless passion for traveling, discovery, history, and art. Let's say that my main goal in life is to constantly grow and improve my knowledge in every field. Life is a continuous wonder. I have strong roots in Napoli, having grown up in the very heart of the historical center, and all my friends and family still live in the same area. I had classical studies, and I've always been curious about legends, traditions, and the history of my city. All of this gives me a genuine local perspective, but I also have a history of living abroad in different countries such as China and South America. I've traveled all around the world (my father was a flight attendant), so I know how to keep an open mind to any different way of living. I love open spaces, so I practice hiking, sailing, and diving, and I discipline my body with martial arts like Judo, Aikido, and Taiji. I'm also interested in geology, archeology, and literature, making the entire area of Campania a huge treasure chest for me. Like any Italian person, food is a very important matter for me, so I try to keep alive the old cooking traditions of my family. I prepare homemade pasta, Neapolitan coffee, and liquors such as Limoncello and Nocillo. In my opinion, food is always a great way to get to know local culture and is a fundamental aspect of a journey. I feel blessed to be a tour guide in my region, surrounded by art, history, culture, and nature—a place that, after 15 years of work, is still able to surprise me. What I love the most is customizing tours; this way, I can both provide the guest to have a unique experience and I keep my work fun, my mind active, and feeling like I'm delving deeper into the knowledge of what is surrounding me.
