Hi! My name is Barbara, nice to meet you! I am Florentine and a licensed guide of Florence since 2010. I was born and raised in Florence and as all the Florentines I am very proud to be, sometimes too much :) but how I could not be? I live in a city where the great Michelangelo Buonarroti grow up, I walk every day in the same streets where Leonardo da Vinci walked, it happens that without knowing, I stand in the same place where Lorenzo il Magnifico of the Medici talked with some great renaissance philosophers. This is Florence. . . pure magic and this is what I want to make people feel! I worked in the hotel business for 10 years but that was not my faith. I took my guiding license and changed job; now I am very happy to say that I enjoy waking up every day to do something I love. Being a native gives me the possibility to show you the best of Florence and not only the touristic part. I really believe that art and history can be enjoyable and why not, also be fun!
