Hi! I'm Paola, a tour guide living in Riposto (Catania), a little town on Sicily's east coast over the Ionian sea. I studied as an actress and get my bachelor in arts and theater, then I get my tourist guide licence in 2017. Since when I was a child I've been passionate about history and archaeology, also thanks to my mum which used to drive me around the island to discover special and unknown sites and traditions. Because I grew up in a traditional Sicilian family I'm also in love with our kitchen and, thanks to my grandma teachings, I know a lot of recipes about our traditional dishes. As good meals needs good drinks, I'm also training my knowledge about Sicilians wines producers, mostly on the Etna volcano. I'm in love with nature and folk traditions, that's why I often spent my free time searching for little villages and abandoned ruins to get in touch with the ancient feeling of this mystic land! I like to party and share time with friends. Music, theater, dance, cinema are some of my interest, that's why I'm also informed about nightlife and events in town and countryside. As a local I'm in touch with many companies and associations which provides services and activities like: dance and yoga class, cooking class, wine tasting, trekking escursion, horse riding, off road escursion and so on. I'll be very pleased to share with travellers my knowledge and let them join the real Sicilian life experience!
