My name is Friðþjófur J. (Fred) and I'm a certified guide to Iceland. I've been guiding for over 30 years. Having traveled all my life all over Iceland and the world and worked in other countries, I chose Iceland as my permanent home. My education and profession have been in business in Iceland, the USA, and Denmark, sharing knowledge and learning. My other passions include music, motorcycling, photography, and fishing. Combining these, my experience in business and love for nature, I decided that sharing some of this, gives me the best of pleasures. I want to show and explain to you what and why Iceland is my choice for home, by going deeper into nature, history, folklore, and culture than the public tours go. Hence I hope to broaden your horizon into new things and perhaps our understanding about the important things in life.
