Hi there! My name is Manos, I am proud to be born on the island of Crete and I live in Iraklion. I have been working in many different jobs, before realizing what I really wanted. After getting my University Degree in Tourism Management, I gave exams to enter in the School of Guides and guess what. . . I was so passioned with this school that I passed the exams with one of the best grades. It was 3 very difficult years of studies, huge amount of information, very demanding exams and many many nights of studying!!! Finally I got the licence, I wanted so much and since 2004 I am working as a Professional Tourist Guide, offering tours all over Greece, but mainly on the island of Crete. I am working a lot with english speaking guests mainly coming from USA, Canada and England , as well as with guests coming from Russia and Ukraine. (I also have the permit to guide in the Russian Language). Having all that experience (. . . . imagine around to 250 tours every season for the last 15 years) I realised that, if I wanted to offer to my guests "Authentic experience" and the "Real face of Crete", I had to run my own business. . . so I created my own tour agency, organizing unique and authentic, fun and memorable tours, around the island of Crete, focusing on the highest level of service and satisfaction for my guests. As an example, in order to offer the highest level of experience in my special wine tours, I studied and became wine sommelier, so as to speciallize in the wine world, that Crete has so much to offer. Apart from that I followed seminars of safe-driving and first aid/cpr.
