Hello dear guests, My name is Irene, I was born in England and raised on the beautiful island of Corfu. After finishing high school I went on to further my education and took a 4 year tourism business management course. I have worked in various hotels and travel agencies. In 2007 my father told me that because I talk too much and I absolutely love people I should become a tourist guide. Best advice ever!!!I graduated in 2010 and since then I have worked as an official and licenced tourist guide. These last years I have worked with various cruise companies such as Viking, Thomson , COSTA , Seabourn, Holland America, Regent, Crystal, Princess, P&O, Celebrity, Norwegean Jade, Silver, Royal Caribbean, Oceania etc, with groups but also VIP and private tours. I love meeting new people and showing them my Island. Everyday this beautiful island never ceases to amaze me and my guests. The rich history , different types of architecture, various wonderful local products, and of course the lovely weather throughout the season will help to make your visit unforgettable. There are many things to see, palaces, breathtaking views, beautiful beaches, traditional villages, fortresses and lets not forget the excellent cuisine and local wine! Corfu town has been under the protection of UNESCO since 2007 as a world heritage site!I will help you see, feel and understand our magical island and its people. I will make the best of the few hours you have, to visit the best of corfu. Together depending on your needs we will organise a memorable tour which, will give me the chance to show you just how much I love my island and what I do. I am a greek licensed tourist guide by the ministry of culture and tourism. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.
