I have a passion for history and guiding my guests through the unique cities of Esslingen and Stuttgart. I grew up in Michigan and worked in the aerospace and automotive industries as an engineer. Always curious about my own German heritage, I studied the German language and traveled extensively. After retiring, I was able to pursue my love of European history, architecture, and travel and became a tour guide in Germany. I love my adopted hometown of Esslingen, where I am an official city guide, and have extensive experience as a tour guide. I do my best to provide a enthusiastic and informative historical walking tours of Esslingen and Stuttgart and enjoy telling many stories about these cities. Most of my clients are the result of referrals from previous guests, who have thoroughly enjoyed sightseeing and learning about medieval Esslingen and historical Stuttgart. My area of special interest and expertise is the European medieval period as well as World War I and II. My native language is English, with German as my second language. I am very proud of my consistent "5-star" ratings on different travel websites. On my tours, you will experience these sights from an "insiders" point-of- view and from a local, who lives here and can show you things that you would not find on your own.
