Tour guide in Frankfurt Yasaman M.

Hi, I'm Yas ! I have been living in Frankfurt for a few years, I'm french (from Paris) and in my early thirties. I'm very active, specially walking around the city and exploring its corners. That's how I discovered Frankfurt when I first moved in the city, by walking everywhere and all around ! I'm passionate about architecture, urbanism, design and history, even though i'm certainly not an expert at those. Also, I love to paint and cook (and eat). Officially, I've been guiding for over 6 months now but it really started when I first moved in the city and all my friends and family would come visit me, I would then improvise myself as a tour guide for them in order to make them discover this new city, with its beauty, contrasts and unexpectedness. Frankfurt is one of the most important cities in Germany : hosting the European Central Bank makes it an important financial landmark in Europe and brought to the city a lot of modernity which beautifully contrasts the traditional medieval part of the old town. In addition to its 60 museums, the city hosts a lot of events throughout the year so there's always something happening (food fairs, book fair, music concerts, NFL games, Christmas markets etc. ). Also, Frankfurt is in the middle of the wine country and only 2 hours from the French border, plus it's a medium-sized city which is very convenient for walking tours !
