Dresden- the "Florence of the North" is waiting for you! And I am be happy to be your guide. Booking a tour with me means immersing into history. I am not only talking about the past- I am talking about the recent history. I can say "I am a Dresdener". A Dresden citizen who was raised in the wonderful city, has sweet memories about my childhood in this beautiful city, a Dresdner who has lived as a young mother through the challenging time of the reunification and a local guide with a unique experience as a tour director even before the reunification of Germany. I'd like to share my passion of tour guiding, history and arts. I studied with the boys of Dresden Kreuzchor and I am focusing on music & art tours having obtained all permits for guiding in all art collections of Dresden, like the Art Gallery, the "Green Vault" and the Porcelain collection. I was spoilt to be raised in a city where the flair of art and culture is lying in the air. Living through different historic societies and participating in many historic events which were marking my life in a very impressive way, like the re-opening of the Opera House in 1985 or the Consecration of the Frauenkirche in 2005. Based on all my experience I am now giving lectures on the reunification of Germany. My hobby is travelling - in order to improve my language skills and to get to know different places, people and cultures. This is so exciting! For more than 25 years I have been focusing on cultural tour-guiding, on specialized groups, like music tours or reformation tours and on tailor-made programms for my customers.
